Megan learned to read when she was 3 (thanks Montessori school!) and since then has never stopped learning or reading. Her passions have always leaned towards working with children and families, often in ways that encourage reading and creativity. Though her studies, interests and life experiences are varied, somehow they weave together and have now led to this: Sleeping Phoenix Publishing. She’s very excited to see where this journey leads.

Sleeping Phoenix Publishing is not just a traditional publishing company. At our publishing “house”, we recognize that each human being is a unique tapestry of experiences, aspirations, and potential. We are committed to publishing works that celebrate diversity and differentiation, that offer profound insights into the various dimensions of human existence, as well as pure entertainment.
Our main motivation is to showcase the talent and creativity of authors and artists, because we believe there are so many ways to contribute to the Human Design community and encourage each other to live out our designs, without resorting to giving Human Design readings, teaching or coaching. We work to ensure that each publication is crafted with love and care, and a commitment to excellence. When you hold one of our books in your hand, we want you to see and feel the frequency of its author, not just another commercialized book seeking maximum sales.
Human Design encompasses such a wide range of disciplines, touching all aspects of life, including - and most certainly not limited to - psychology, philosophy, spirituality, personal development, science, health and wellness, parenting and relationships. Through our publications, we aim to explore the intersections between “The Science of Differentiation” and our lived human experience. The possibilities are endless and we will shamelessly entertain open-headed questions and investigative rabbit holes.
Our efforts don’t end with publishing books. We are also committed to fostering connections and nurturing conversations in way that feels enjoyable and nourishing to our community. We aim to house vibrant environments where authors, readers, and enthusiasts can engage, share ideas, and create alchemy together.
The door to our “house” is flung wide open to both those who are already diving down the well of Human Design and to those of you who are reading this and thinking, “What is Human Design?! This sounds nuts.” We don’t have time to be dogmatic or exclusive. We want to enjoy this process and each others’ company. We believe that no topic is off limits or out of bounds! As long as it is related in some way to Human Design, we’re interested in hearing your publishing ideas.
The world is changing; we can all feel the ground shifting and see the cracks in the foundations of “how it’s always been”. As 2027 approaches and the Sleeping Phoenix awakens, we hope to provide a safe place to navigate those shifts and changes together.
